High tide around 2pm.
I'm watching this SW that is blowing a bit further south (gusting to low 20's at Byron). As I'm writing this it's swung from 10 SW to 14 S at the seaway and has 4 hours to build.
Chances?
From BOM:

Scott F and I had a sail at Manly late..
..Scott got the best of it and I got the last 30min, but a nice fast cruise on big gear.
I really enjoyed this afternoons sail at Manly, especially after slogging it out yesterday at Wello. That was one of those days where you had made plans with the family and blew them off expecting 25+ and getting totally skunked. What a way to burn up brownie points.
Today made up for that in spades. It was only on the big gear but the high tide, clear water and awesome sunshine on a winters day made it gold.
Am looking forward to what I am hoping will be an awesome summer season, especially those majic north easters.
i had a sail at boreen point for the first time ever. started marginal but was good by 4pm-ish @ close to 20kn
shearwater would have been great i bet
