That's about 1m of water going out, translates to about +4knots of virtual wind at its peak, I reckon. Shearwater itself adds + 20% to SE winds.

Cruising can make for a very nice afternoon. I do it over summer a bit. Cruise down from Shearwater to Labrador for fish & chips, cruise back.
