I like the look of the forecast for tomorrow. I think I'll bring my ancient slalom board for a spin. HAve to drop in and buy a new harness first though.
Anyone else plannning on Shearwater tomorrow ?

OK, so I'm curious. Just had a squiz at the map, and assuming that the Grand is at the junction of Brisbane Rd and MArine Pde, it does not look significantly different to Shearwater in orientation etc.
What is different about it ? Water depth ? Access ? Number of pretty girls ??
I'm not really bothered, just curious.

OH and, just checked the chart and , "She's looking good, Vern !!"

When will I ever learn ?

Left my small mast at home thinking, no way I'll need to rig a 5m, and it's 25 kts, gusting to near 30 at teh Seaway.

Its sail-able now at the Grand but busy until 1030am will be out then.
If you are sailing at the Grand and look back at Shearwater you will see the angle is different in my opinion grand is good in Southerly and Shearwater better in S TO SW, The Brisbane road can be shallow and a short run also........sod it will cancel my 10am
