First SeaBreezes!!!
Currently at work, there is a 15-20 knot seabreeze on the coast.
Same predicted for Saturday (tomorrow) and Sunday.
Hurrah for September!"
September is awesome. October is usually even better... might even be my favourite month.
I think we already had a seabreeze weekend before last.
what about la nina?
I think one is currently developing. Last one I remember was crap ne's but stinking se's from about late jan on.
El nino is usually associated with very strong ne's - while nsw and victoria burn.
Yes, but it might take a while to set in. Our wet winter we are still having might delay the land heating up and drying out.
Last year was dry from early JUly on, and very dry through spring, which helped our great northerly season.
Further north around Bundaberg had a crap spring though, according to a local I spoke to. which surprised me as is was very hot and dry up there too. Maybe th water was too warm.
Greeny noted today that our GC water will be very cold for our spring, so we might do OK too.
Maybe the northerlies will come early this year, its been tryin to do that and its winter, give it a month, rock on Redcliffe ![]()
