Now that's a better way to kick off the season. Absolutely ballistic on the bay. Was way overpowered on a 5.4 and a little wave board. From all reports it blew stink up and down the coast as well.
I hope this means some sweet times ahead for the rest of the year and no more disruptive weather systems. I get enough Spanish in the mornings with the kids Dora shows, I never want to hear El Niño or El Nina in the weather reports again.
Speaking of weather reports Liz Cantor, as pretty as she is, made the fatal mistake of mentioning how much the kitesurfers would have enjoyed the wind today. I'm writing her a letter to tell her that the windsurfers rule on the big days. Only one or two kites out today and around 20 windsurfers, even with the roads being blocked.
I hope that tomorrow brings more of the same.
