As many would know WQ has been though a recent re-structure and as part of this there has been some consideration and discussion regarding the formation (or re-formation) of a wavesailing club to be based in SE QLD.

At the moment I am in discussion with a number of parties detailing what is required to set up such a club and around affiliating with WQ to secure insurance etc, and all is looking good. Initial thoughts are that the club will focus on fun experession session style events and learn to wavesail days on the Gold and Sunshine Coast in the first instance, in the future potentially conducting man-on-man wave events and if there is enough interest competative freestyle events also.

If you would like to be involved, recieve notifictaions of progress or just voice your support please email me on jamie_miller@netspace.net.au.

Thanks
Jamie
