Yes from about 1.20 you can make it out. Good way to cure your constipation. Have seen a few reefies in my time but nothing of note like that.

Yeah thanks Lee I broke my boom the following day and another set of harness lines. Time for a diet!! I hear being eaten by a shark is a good way to lose weight [}:)]

Actually that shark was pretty big it was just below the surface but i got a decent look at it. Passed about a metre from me looked really bloody wide

Lucky the water at Manly is too murky to see anything, or is that a bad thing?

Told my missus about the so called Shearwater shark that had been sighted about 4 times previously to this in the last month. Some were thinking it was a bit of an urban myth. Now there is some proof. She looked at me and said "good luck" and said she wants me to take out life insurance for some reason.
I'm a glass half full sort of guy so i think it just makes one work on quicker water starts and better chop hops

I was hoping it stayed away from crab island, i hate falling in the water on the edge of the bank so much. The water has such a sharky tinge to it.

Simple dood put that bloody kite away and windsurf again. At least you can jump up on top of the board until 'The Noah" passes and not just hang there looking like a tasty little snack for the local wild life

very true. with the kite im forced to look tough and not scared, (well as tough as a kiter can look haha) but with the windsurfer there is nothing stopping me looking like a little pansie jumping out of the water to uphaul everytime i crash.

dont you hate swimming your sail around to water start and you kick something that never feels like sand?
