Hey guys, the last few days here in denmark have been hectic. Last monday we had some awesome conditions to get dialed in with like 40 to 50 early arrivers hitting the water to get tuned in. Monday night a north sea low started to move over the top of us and man did it start to blow.

We woke up the next morning and it was balistic, it was nearly blowing dogs off chains. So us young and stupid teenage Aussies Eamon Robertshaw (W.A.) , Patrick Vos (W.A.) And Luke Baillie (Q.L.D.). Decided to give the 40 knot offshore winds a crack. When we got there fellow Aussie RSX windsurfer Tim Gourlay (W.A.) told us it would be wise to go home and rest.
And so we did the only problem was that we went home and watched the windsurfing movie for the first time we were so keen to go sailing that we went back to the club and rigged up a youth rig 8.5m2 not the usual 9.5. So we went to battle and boy was it insane. Got some sick footage that we hope to put up later 40 knots and on an 8.5 sick.

Wednesday was the same again except this time we were not as stupid as the day before and did not head out. A lot of sailors started to turn up, and in evening the last wave of Aussies arrived Joel Tyack (Q.L.D.). Joanna Sterling (Q.L.D.) And coach Brendan Todd.

Thursday started with a light offshore breeze and everyone hit the water early to make the most of the day great to see 60 + baords on the water James Leavy (N.S.W.) Was particularly quick in the light winds throughout the morning. Jessica Crisp also finnaly arrived in the evening after spending the last two weeks training in norway.

Today was the arrival day here and the day we all moved into our gear tents. Its a pretty amazing site every country is alocated a tent for them to put gear in. The more people from the country competing the bigger the tent, so with 8 Aussies competing at this worlds our tent is massive.

Regerstration is tomorrow with a pratcice race and opening ceromony so should be a good day.

This will be the best covered sailing event to date where you can watch the event live from GPS trackers and live video footage where you can choose the camera you watch from

I will put the link up tomorrow with tomorrows update ( if there are any mistakes in this its because I wrote it on my mobile)

Sounds like the biggest Aussie sailboard team ever in a foreign event! Atmosphere must be unreal. Luke, take care of yourself mate - 8.5 in 40+ is not what a normal person would do, but then you are superboi ;) Still you dont want to injure yourself before the event. Good luck everyone and enjoy yourselves!

Keen for an update Luke, also to see the footage of the 9.5 in 40 knots - thats insane. If there is any of the RSX loop that would also be good, could be expensive perfecting that one, I'll bet your old man is advising against trying.
