Appears I have been assigned the job of buying the suasages and buns for Sundays race. I am struggling with the choice on offer, thick or thin, Pork, BBQ, rosemary and lamb, chicken, vego, gluten free.

Simon did instruct me to purchase the cheapest possible, however i'm not sure that Simon does that much shopping at home, pretty sure Julie keeps his fridge stocked for him. In fact the only thing I saw him eat the whole time we were at Maui was several kilo's of protein powder.

Struggling, in need of guidance....... dont get me started about the sauces.

an unenviable task indeed!
no matter what you pick you will receive criticism, however I am here to provide support.

Thin pork sausages - they cook fast and taste like pork - yum.
Tomato sauce and american mustard (you could add BBQ if you wanna be fancy)- works for bunnings.

These options should also keep you in budget!

thanks Boardboy, I like the way you think. I forgot to mention some nasty little mexican chilli numbers I also saw. I'm pretty sure Tim Lawrence could put away a whole kilo of these by himself. Might make for some uncomfortable moments at the start line.

But, then I would have introduced a mexican theme so none of the above mentioned sauces would compliment, this is tough!

Ohhhh Bart...

What would Junko do in this situation??

Mate woolies / coles value pack gives you around 24 snags thats the thin bbq ones where there are rows of snags. The pork are indeed nice but there is more fat which means more mess with the barbie - and considering i'm carrying the bugger, not to keen on pork fat through the trailer thanks.

tommmy and barbie for the horses. the mustard does not get a huge following.
soft buns from woolies are some of the cheapest.

Daz

ps - look for the ones on sale

Please wind God bring some wind. Everyone has got too much time on their hands and are beginning to sound like a couple of old grannies discussing the price of groceries.

The peppercorn chipolata!! not sure it gets any better than this. evilC love your work. Darryl dont think for a minute keeping your trailer clean is not a high priority for me, its just................sometimes sacrifices have to be made by a few for the good of the many.

Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for it!

This country needs better sausages!!
