Wow............ check out the photo gallery on this forum under windsurfing(of course) its like Mecca to the muselims all windsurfers must go once before they die!

Yeah, awesome spot. I used to go there a fair bit when I was growing up... a long time ago now! You get some huge SW at Wilsons prom blasting across the sand. You can virtually reach over and touch the edge as you can sail so close to it. It's like you are water skiing in an area of dead flat water... there is not aven the chatter of the board as it skims over the chop. Speed trials there were epic... and I'm sure still are. The only problem was how cold it got. Lucky the adrenalin kept you warm! Gets fairly busy now aswell so I believe.
