Just wondering what everyone else was doing today. It was a perfect day to get the old longboards out on the broad water for a bit of a scoot around with the Laser sailboats with the Paradise Point Sailing club. Tactics came to the fore. Tony Matta, prevailed in a fine demonstration of sailing skill.

Well done Tony and Paul. Just had my appendix removed unfortunately. So, sorry I couldn't make it. I'm starting to worry about this Tony fella though.

Me too- Tony is certainly carrying a bit of form just now- particularly in the marginal conditions. He just makes that batwing board get up and go in the lighter conditions- very fast.

Still better than being at home mowing grass or sitting on the shore line forever hopeful of enough wind to make it worthwhile going out.

Most probably the steak! During the 2 weeks before the op my stomach had blown up like a big balloon. Hang on, it's always like that isn't it?

Today- 8th Sept- last race for the Winter series @ Paradise Point. Basic Laser dinghy race but sailboards welcome to join in. If you have nothing better organised for Sunday afternoon, worth a go. Equipment race is not at DEFCON 4.
