I miss big nights drinking at Peel then diving off the flybridge in the morning to sober up.
Ive caught a couple of good snappers of the the bluff at peel , and the pipies shells are great to tom eat , cant wait ot get back into the fishing,,,,
I hate walking around there, never seen so many stingrays in my life- like a minefield, you just pray for one of them not to hit you. I'd still love to sail in horseshoe though.
i have sailed in there. took the one design over there a few years back.
it was a NE wind.
was gusty and swirly and dead calm on the beach.
oh yeah. it's got sharts. ![]()
Well what do you expect sailing in a northerly anchorage.
They're not sharks, they are gybe training devices ![]()
It would be a good place to windsurf in a south easter but a bastard of an anchorage in those conditions.
yes, i realise it's an anchorage for NE's.......
that would be why i was there. ![]()
the beach cricket is world class if you are a right hander. ![]()
maybe the new spot for SW's ?
Ive been there on a good SE and with a mid tide you can ride between the swells for speed but even better on wave gear!!!
But unfortunatly i went fishing that day.
Mark when i get there i will make u some pipies and then u will see how good they are
.....
Hey richfish try fishing near the hole and anchor away from the drop off and dont put any sinker on just float line it out..
