The usual boat sailing club racing is on every Sunday and sailboards are welcome to join in as an addition to the fleet. It is course racing format- often with long upwind legs to the course so boards with higher volume and centre boards tend to work best. 1:30 pm on water start, $12 race fee.

If anyone is keen- I have an ancient F2 Lightning I can take down with me as a loan board- not flash, but functional (F2)- but please let me know before hand- otherwise I won't bother loading it up- you will need your own rig. Message me if interested.

Well- how exciting was it on the broad water with the PPSC racing today? It wasn't - even with a high volume old fashion race board and a moderately large race sail- it was so slow- could not even keep pace with the Lasers. Ahh well- there is always next week.

Opposite to manly on saturday had a solid 25 knts and i spent most of the afternoon practicing downwind catapults. One of the techno girls went through her sail i think out of 7 or 8 starters only two or three finishers everyone else retired. Will try and get down to ppsc next sunday as theres no club racing at rq next week.
