But will they stay. Don't like the look of those rain clouds on the graph. We've been very good. We deserve lots of wind/fun![]()
I suppose someone had to say it.
I'm heading up to FNQ to work again next week, so I'll head off a few days early to get lots of sailing in along the way.
Hamish,
I appreciate your unselfish sacrifice to your fellow windsurfers in buying big gear.
Ken,
If it's windy when you come through give me a bell.
maybe a bit of a seabreeze this arvo with all this heat ?![]()
2pm. Manly Harbour. 10 knots NE gusting to 12 knots......Hot .....![]()
Bayside has slalom this sunday , lets hope forecast holds true, like hamish I have got light wind gear on the way (phantom 380) so its going to blow!
Not sure exactly when that will be.
I'm planning to sail here Saturday, drive up to Bundy Sunday, and stay for a couple of days, then leave either Tuesday or Wed to drive up to Babinda, where I have to start work on Thursday.
So, probably Tuesday, I'd say. If I squeeze in a sail at Yeppoon on Tuesday afternoon, I could then drive for a few hours, maybe to Mackay, or at least the Marlboro half-way rest area, then get to Alva Beach for another sail Wednesday afternoon, and arrive at Babinda late Wed night.
Now that's a plan !!
Just have to work out where to sail from Babinda then. Is Bramston Beach any good ?
Note that I have total confidence in the wind to accommodate me.
That was close, I was just about to take up kite surfing.........only kidding.
Bring it on, i can't wait to try Beachmere ![]()
Rob and I'll probably drive up too. Is this your maiden voyage Doodah after your hols and compulsory foot rest?
Haven't been on hols yet, but yes it will be my first time back
. It's been 8 weeks! No more silly tricks this time
Still not 100% but can't wait any longer...
