Anybody know of any good places to sail around Yamba/Iluka (preferably flat water). Any hazards to look out for?
Is Iluka side of the Clarence any good in a Southerly?
Would appreciate comments from anyone who has sailed down here.

Sailed off Yamba side.
Rig @ Whiting Beach, near the Caravan Park (first beach inside the rivermouth walls inside the river on southside).

Works in NE, sail off to gap in rockwall (NW in middle of river). Do speedy tight-ish reaches along wall, rockwall is only a bit above water, so wind unobstructed.

Or you can peel off and do a 130degree speed reach down to the Sth back and fly past the hire tinnys!

Thanks for your comments on Yamba. Will drive around to Yamba for a sail in a NE'er.
