Had a nice little run at Wynnum in a NEaster this afternoon. I'm hoping there are a whole lot more of those to come. On the way home I went past Manly and saw what looked to be a beginner being towed in by a jet ski. I hope the poor schmuck was ok. Looked like he was the skiing type...
Yip had a nice blast for a couple of hours on the broadwater above Wave Break Island. Nicely powered up on 8.6 
It was great north of Wave Break Island, wasn't it Tilldark. Plenty of power on my 7.8 till 3tish or so. Then switched to 84 wide board and had a couple more runs before it really dropped off.
Couldn't resist the dig, Simon told me you got rescued. I have had the same thing but it was on dusk halfway between wello and lota creek. Took me two hours to swim my kit back in the dark. Nasty.

I watched the rescue take place from the RQ beach, I spent the whole afternoon watching everyone else sailing. While getting gear out of the back of the trailer I accidently stepped of the side off the ramp and rolled my ankle badly, still hobbling around.
Had a session at castaways. On 6.0 and my trusty 92 evo. Smushy waves and the wind was just enough. Bunch of Kites there too. I was the only poley 
That was after a three hour surf in the morning. C'mon Summer!!
