Yeah, but she's been living on gingerbread, so she's a fat girl with rotten teeth.
am now working on the opposites theory.
the weekend in question has red arrows so i'm thinking the law of opposites will dictate green on the day. ![]()
heads up wanderers that we are looking towards this saturday to catch the northwesterlies.
location to be Wello - The Winter Wonderland ![]()
more information to follow as time progresses.
Green light for the meet tomorrow!!!!
Latest update :-
Just confirming the meet for this saturday the 31st of july will be going ahead and will be held at Wellington Point.
we will aim to start the day earlier than normal with an 11-12am kick off to take advantage of the forecasts. the meet will be the first opportunity to signon for the new season.
We will also aim to hold the club agm around the bbq, i would like to ask that any members interested in joining the organising committee to please nominate at the bbq/agm.
Happy winds
Justin.
thanks guys,
was good to see all the familiar faces once more and we got the bonus of the wind turning up.
gotta love qld, boardshort weather in july. ![]()
It was also great to have some new faces at the club joining up.
some news hot off the press is that we held the agm during the bbq and i would like to firstly thank outgoing committee members kerry and nicholas for their efforts over the last few years and support. I would also like to welcome new committee members notwal (secretary) and Peter Nitschke (treasurer) for taking on the roles within the club.
Peter's first role is to spend 1 month in jeri soaking up the sun/surf and 30 knots daily. ![]()

Both notwal and Pete have been a part of the club since it's beginning so it's exciting to see them get involved at a committee level and i am sure they will both bring a lot to the table.
future plans,
next meet we are aiming for pelican park, redcliffe and then onto our annual North Kirra Meet, as we dropped one meet during the wind drought in july we will hopefully try and catch up by getting an extra meet in over the next 8 weeks.
we keep one eye on the forecast.
cheers again to all.
