decided to start a new thread rtather than grind the original to a halt with way to many photos. so here we have it.
here's the images. there are some fairly ordinary images in the group but i uploaded everything incase you're in one of them. can anyone name names? I know a couple of the guys but don't know gear so didn't realise people like dave m were on the water. I let a few people know I'd upload here but if everyone can spread the word that the images are here that would be great.

thanks guys,
it was a pretty good day!! I stayed much longer at neill st then planned because the guys were going off. always makes it more fun taking photos when the people you are taking photos of are killing it.
bowsa, finno and some of the guys are on another level. finno on his twin was impressive to watch.
also you can't tell from the photos but over at moffats, the guys were taking off and/or finishing in the wind shadow of the headland on some of those waves.

By the way Justin - I'll have to change my avatar now - thanks to your great pics
( the old F2 axis pic was getting a bit stale)
yeah I loved that photo of you mark. that was some big air. I missed a couple of your earlier jumps so followed you with the camera and then you did that. ![]()
I was just looking through the medium range forecasts while having lunch and it seems the fun will continue and this season does appear to be very good for the sunshine coast with the SE winds continuing at least for the next 2 weeks. might die down for a bit after that for a few weeks before ramping up again.
the models are suggesting another cyclone or low from around the 6th feb. timing varies a little but there is an outside chance the weekend of the 8/9th feb will be quite good.
if that happens i'll rent a good lens for the weekend and head back up the coast. looking through the images from the other day every one of them except the landscape views were taken with my cheapo lens at it's max 300mm zoom for both neill and moffats. would love to try a 300mm f2.8 prime lens. ![]()
Thanks Justin for those great pics and immortilizing a fantastic day. I understand you regularly devote your time to the Burrum Speed event and other things. So thanks mate for a job well done.
