most of the day has gone by the time i finish work and drive there, but it looksd like it would be great
second thoughts... tide not so good on monday as you would have to walk half way to nz to get to the water, but tues should be ok. Might look at the gc for monday or redcliffe
kind of an unknown but us boys up here have been sailing it for years. s-sw is best, but s-se is still good albeit a tad more onshore. looks good from 11ish today
^^^ Should have made the trek to Shearwater Andrew. It was really really good. Patchy for a little while but once it came in there was no shortage of wind that's for sure. Mega powered up on my 5.5 most of the time.
ended up having an awesome sail at wello... best sail in ages. 20-25 most of the arvo. Fully powered on the 5.3. I even got the wave board out for a while. Might make the trek to shearwater tomorrow if there is any wind left.
queens was good today, four blokes out and not even at the same time. started with 5.8 (dumb move) came in to change down and was offered a try of a 4.4 (thanks for that Lee) fully powered up with a nice 1.0 -1.5 swell out the back. had another short blast with the 5.8 as the sun was going down![]()
