Jet Scity alright. I even found one drifting around by itself today. Broadwater is a mad house on Sundays, and there is a constant drone of boats the size of the QE2. I just give way to everybody nowadays.
Still, if you know where to go you can avoid all traffic. ![]()

The north side of that lagoon had brilliant Bump'n'Jump conditions today. Haven't sailed it before, the chop jacks up nicely on the shallow bottom : )
The lagoon itself is waist deep and protected from chop. Perfect for perfecting those carve gybes and practising forwards (can do sans board now).
Did I mention it has a perfect rigging area? Right next to the car, shady, lush grass and even a tap.
No parking issues, no yobbos, no traffic noise...
...I may never go anywhere else ever again.

Above you are sailing through some not very busy channels, but you don't have to.
hi panda,
have you sailed jennifer ave before? very similar to what you describe. nice spot.
am keen to sail your knew spot.
Or Jennifer ave... I tend to sail up and downwind (a lot lately) from Jennifer Ave to Burrows St., everything above is in between. Hell, you can sail up to Shearwater too.
