Its not Olympic selection as its the Youth Team but it is representing the country at international level. Luke Baillie and Joe Sterling got selected for this event in the past. As we all know Luke placed second at the Down Under Pro (well done) and is now on the PWA tour and Joe is working hard on her Olympic campaign. I think at lot of the best sailors we have cut their teeth in these type of events back in the day.

The youth competing in these events are the Olympians and Pro's of the future, I think if Qld continues to work on growing and supporting the youth sailors (and we are doing more than any other state) we will continue to get the above results well into the future.

A special mention should also be made about Max Wojcik (from Polond) who has been based at RQ to coach Jo but has also been very generously coaching others including Lara, Emma and Jacob. Good on you Max!
