Has anbody checked out any long range forecasts for spring and summer for SE QLD, can we expect a windy season ................

ta, u r both a wealth of information, I seem to remember Gesty rabiting on about some long range forecasts and that this summer maybe a good one .....

Hervey Bay Waters:

Fraser Island Offshore Waters, Sandy Cape to Double Island Point:
No Wind next 24 months

Southeast Coast Waters, Double Island Point to Point Danger:
No wind next 24 months

Moreton Bay Waters:
No wind next 10 years
The next routine forecast wont be issued no need.

"MAY be" Typical....

just like the fool proof weather forecast.

"Mostly fine, with a possibility of isolated showers, parts of patchy cloud, clearing in the afternoon with the onset of a light seabreeze, and the possibility of a thunder storm in the late afternoon."

They may as well say the sun comes up, stays up there 4 a bit, then goes down.
