Hello, does anyone sail at Beachmere QLD? I am new to windsurfing and have an old Wayler Board and a couple of different sails. I have been out twice already, and can finally get the board going I just struggle to change directions. If anyone is able come out one weekend and just check my board and sails out to see if it is correctly set up, or even offer some friendly pointers I would be greatly appreciated.

The board length is 3.8m

Just wait for a strong SE and watch them all show up.

Or even better book in a lesson at Manly with Simon from Board Crazy and learn the basic skills with an expert.

Phillip Street, go to the end of this street to rig up and sail straight out from there.

He's right just wait for a good south easter and a good tide and your find a few windsurfers out at beachies. Its an awesome spot in SE, couple of the lads that sail there do the twisty stuff im sure they would be happy to give you a few pointers.

That would be great if I could get a bit of advice from the guys, It was a nice SE wind on sunday just gone about 12:30ish, pitty the tide was on its way out when the wind picked up as I was just starting to get a good sail going for the first time lol.

I sail out the back door of my partners dads house on Coronation ave Beachmere, I will head up to Philip street hopefully this sunday.

Thanks Guys

Hey DeeJay, I am definately keen to drop by and give you a few pointers. I live in Brisbane but work on Bribie, so sail around that area a fair bit and Beachmere can really be good when its windy in SE. Its a great place to learn, albeit a little challenging if there is some swell, but nice and shallow. Send me an message and let me know when your heading out next!
