i'm keen but unreliable to show as it's a long way and i'll need it to look good on the obs to make the trip.

what are the banks like there at the moment?

do you remember the wanderers meet we would have been better further north due to the gutter?

I had a sil there 2 weeks ago, and the banks were great.
I'll be heading north Sunday morning, so count me out.
I might get a sail at Noosa or further north if it comes in somewhere.

Hey Lee
Kirra is a secret spot located on the gold coast just down from another great right hand point that I can't mention online as the locals would kill me.

jeez man you just gave it away. No one would ever find kirra if it wasn't for guys like you.

Bye the way - I have heard you can wave sail the kirra main break in a strong south wester. I can't imagine a situation with big swell and a strong sou wester but it might be worth a look this winter.

Anyone got any experience?

apparently the wind has holes-a-plenty

the waves there always look awesome with an offshore breeze though

Apparently you can still find it with a shovel.

Disappointed can't make it today - kids. Kirra can be great fun, a mix of flatwater in the gutter (low tide?), bump and jump, surf and open ocean. Crystal clear water too. Quite the playground.

Sorry to hear that EP. I'm keen to get back in the gutter if it gets windy though. Sort of looks 50/50 at this stage.

The doctor said they'd probably just go away by themselves. Might take a few years though. I'm not contagious so don't freak out if you see me with them.

Still not sure how I got them though. Apparently sexually transmitted but none of mine or my wife's ex partners have kids. Hmmm.
