Hi,

I was shown a picture of one of these today. I currently ride an XCite Ride 146. I may think of graduating to a 116 AllRide as I transition to a smaller board. It is on my wish list anyway. I am not sure of any reviews but there is a fair bit of tech talk on the JP website. Try this link http://jp-australia.com/2013/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/boardoverview1.pdf

Regards,
Mark

I had a 2011 106 All Ride pro edition as a progression board not long after I started windsurfing. As far as I know they haven't changed shape since then. They are an excellent all round board that aren't exceptional at anything but really good at everything. I haven't ridden a 116 for longer than about 2 minutes but I had the 106 for about a year or so. I learnt tonnes on that board. All I can say is that you could do a LOT worse than getting one they are great.

Hey There, I am in the US and joined the forum to join this thread! Ha. I too am wondering if the 2014 All Rides shape has been changed at all? I bought the first year (2011?) AllRide 116...And I didnt care for it much...It seemed difficult to get on a plane in less than ideal winds, and was quick to come off a plane if my footwork wasnt perfect. Once planing, it was the fastest board I have ever sailed..but the wind around us isnt consistent so, I was always coming off a plane in Lulls etc...and I got quite frustrated. I have a 95litre Excite Ride from maybe 2005- and that board almost planes quicker, with 20 liters less volume....Therefore - I sold the 116 and got a Tabou Rocket 116...The Rocket is great in that its more forgiving, planes quicker...but it doesnt have the top end speed of the All Ride.....Obv everything is a compromise, but I too am curious if the All Rides have been adjusted at all...Anyone?! Theres the Magic ride, but will it be too much to handle in Chop?

I have a 2012 all ride WS. It was my first board getting back into windsurfing after 20+ years. I really like it. It is fast but I have only ridden it on very flat water. It is good in 15 to 20 knots for me and I think pretty fast for a free ride board.
