Looking at Queens and it is whitecapping at the moment, blowing about 15knots ESE. Looks like it is backing off and going round more to the east as the day heats up. Get in early if you can. Bring big gear.
How cruel , I have to attend a 50th. Racing over the river.wind at Queens.......ahahhh, you would think after 18 years the drug would have worn off.![]()
Do you think there would be any jobs going at the Cape Moreton lighthouse? It would be great to sail there all day and turn the light on at about say 6pm, make a cup of tea, put on a woolly jumper, light up a pipe (or two!) and keep a watchful eye on the horizon. How hard could it be?
Chuffed I just had quite a good sail at Queens, Had to work my way of the beach a way but the long planing runs from the beach out almost to the pile light were fantastic!
Was the only windsurfer out tho.
nice, forecast maps had redcliffe with the best wind today.
went VP and had an up and down short session on the formula kit. it's been so long since i went wide ![]()
question of the day, which end is the front? ![]()
I went up to suttons, it looked pretty good. But decided to go down to Sandgate and got swamped by kiters. But at least there were three windsurfers around..
Had some good runs, but it was up and down.. I think redcliffe was the place..
Yes the 115 SCross. I was using a 6.5 Aerotech. Should have used my 7.5 but I did ok once I got out a way.
That pile light comes up quick if you're not carefull.
Wello was light and patchy. The racing was called after an hour or so. Still I had a nice sail with the blokes for a while. Got oped by a squall at about 5.0 pm :)
