Where are Windsurf spots between Cairns and Brisbane to have a god chance not being alone? When der is wind of course!

I'm travel alone and I don't want to windsurf alone on Spots I don't know in a foreign country.
Distances are crazy in Australia and I don't want do drive hours to get to a spot and nobody is there who can give some insides about the spot.

Thanks in advanced

Elliot heads is good on a south east wind but it's the wrong time of year. Not sure when it's blowing north to north east. Come south for better wind. North qld is much better in winter with good consistent south to south east trade winds

Thanks a lot.

What about spots more up north around Mackay, Townsville and Cairns?

Good spots all the way down the coast, just post on here as you travel and the locals will usually help you out with info,

Many have done this before with lots of help offered.

Don't forget Bowen, best wind on the coast in QLD, if you hit it here on a blowin week you wont want to go any further.
