Now I feel motivated to fix stuff. With any luck I wont get the chance.
I thought about Manly then saw the tide... I hate mud!
Ended up doing the drive to the neck. Lots of kites but I was the only W/S there, bit surprised. was cross shore enough to be fun! just enough grunt inside on my 5.3. lotsa guys at the train too.
farewell winter....
Mud and blood today, copped a boom in the eyebrow, was a bit rusty after the Winter drought, who ever moved that sand bar has a lot to answer for as well.
The water was surprisingly clear after all of the off shore winds and I am sure the bottom was a lot more sandy than I remember.
Had the slalom gear out and was very well powered on a 6.5. Hard not to jump the fragile gear when a swell presents. You always wince on the landing in case you hear any cracking noises.
