Already had a sail at Queens. 6.30am for an hour before work. Fully powered on a 5.0
Very southerly. Twas a hoot! See you after work.
done my house work, just need a child minder, was thinking i could tie them to a tree at the beach, d you think that would go down well![]()
managed to get out for a bit, 5.8 on old glass wave board
, was way overpowered but not out of control, also managed to get some good air time, was all going well untill, the board, fin and half the fin box went their separate ways.
Thanks to Andrew,Kerry, Eric (the Kiter - all the kiters I know at queens are good blokes - even if they kite
)and Brent for helping out. Especially for the plastic fantastic fin that Brent brought out and shoved into the thruster box.
I may even concede that the age of the fin box may have been a very minute factor in its departure![]()
Thanks Guys
It was an entertaining rescue. Hmm 800 metres out at dusk off Queens beach in a 30kt Southeaster with no fin - not the best place to be.
