I'm a Sydney flat water windsurfer headed your way at the end of next week. I'll be staying at Jade Waters Torquay.

Would appreciate a heads up on launching spots dependent on tides and wind directions.

Due to space restrictions I'm only bringing up one board (110L) but can mamange to squeeze in 3 sails 5.3, 6.6 and 7.8 I'm hoping that will cover most conditions.

Thanks for your help and have a happy new year.

Hi Dav

Shelly beach is one of the spots to go. Low tide is good because it is not so much swell. You can sail out to the sand bars and adjust gear or sail back. Have been a few jellies around, I guess the rest is up to the wind gods.
