Just an update speed sailors on theSpeed Week June 21-28.Quicksilver marketing & sales manager Michael Ryan confirmed today that "locals rates" would be available to Speed week competitors & family at the Green Island Resort -an almost 50% saving on standard retail rates & inclusive of transfers & breakfast -this offer also extends to daily Great Adventures Reef transfers on the Reef King etc.
Please remember the resort only has 46 rooms so if you plan to stay dont delay bookings.Let the bookings staff know you are competing in speed week to obtain the discount (discounted rate $299 per couple per night)
Also note that later in the week the afternoon low tide is quite late -the return boat trip to Cairns leaves at 430pm so some of the best sailing of the day will be late in the afternoon Thurs Fri & SAT.
