Late model Bic Tecno with all the gear for $500! only a few hours left!
Seems like a bargain to me for all that equipment and that style of board!
Good buy here also http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Windsurfing-Board-Starboard-Isonic-117-Slalom-Modern-Late-Model-/190726681622?pt=AU_Sport_Surfing&hash=item2c68323416
haha! wouldnt be your board would it?
The techno is not mine, just thought it was great learners or club/racing board?
I think it is, and isn't. Not having a mast in the package could mean that it is hard to find the right mast (bend curve) to match them (who made the BiC sails? and are they the same cut as that manufacturer's other sails? doubt it - made to a price point)..... or if you do find a mast it is useless next year when the BiC sails have crapped themselves and you wanna buy NP or Gaastra or North etc etc.
So it is a great deal, but not for a noob who may not be able to source the right mast.
I picked up the board this evening.
Thanks Jonesy for bringing it to my attention.
I have been looking for one for a while for the Lake Cootharaba Sailing club.
Haven't checked out the sail yet but it was good value even for the board alone.
They are very hard to get second hand.
If anyone would like to try sailing a techno293,
You can now do it at both RQYS and LCSC.
Good score tony, I wanted that board when Pat was selling it unfortunatley missed out by a couple of days, glad its gone to someone who is going to promote the class. Have you got Bevan from Glide industries number he will be able to sort you out with a top section for the mast.
Excellent! Great to see its gone to a good home and will get some good use up there on the lake I'm sure.
