A lot of you might know already but Brad Anderson leaves for luderitz today , He has a new custom fanatic speed board waiting for him when he gets there. Lets hope they get wind and Brad can show them all how fast Queenslanders can go .

Yeah good luck although something tells me you won't be needing it. Once there was AA, AB, BD, PD and now there'll be BA.

The most info is coming out of the "Victorian Speed Sailing" Face Book page. You will have to request to be a friend but there are some great videos and pics of all the action so far. Tony Wynhoven broke the Australian record. It is now 47.23kts for the 500 with a peak of just over 50 It looks to be a pretty mad place. Good luck Brad!

Had some good practice today @ the canal. Spent some time getting the jump start down pat, then had a few runs in the lighter winds. Today i was allowed to run the course & record a proper 500m as many of the other competitors were waiting for more wind. My offical start date for the comp is 4th.

Think i scored the day win being the only person over 40knts with a 500m - 41.5knt.
