I am coming to stay at labrodor on the gold coast for a short week long family holiday maybe in august. Was wondering if there is any gear hire and good spots for a sail in the labrodor area. Also, is august an ok time of year for sailing there?
We do rentals in Brisbane, Sunshine and Gold Coast, from one hour (well, 2 hours minimum rental charge), to long term rentals. Can arrange delivery and pick up to/from your resort. Plenty of good spots on the goldie, from flat water to surf. Southport (Broadwater) is probably the closest spot to you, and is very popular for flat water windsurfing.
We have wave gear to slalom even Formula gear, sails from 2m to 11m. August is bad time for wind tho, middle of winter, but people dont stop windsurfing here all year round.
