Drive an hour south to flat rock/top in ballina?

*edit, just google flat rock road ballina. The rock outcropping is kinda like currumbin I suppose except it is very low and doesn't block the wind as far as I know, so should probably work even if the wind swings south. Might end up there myself if I don't find somewhere that works in yamba. Will probably check it out tomorrow on the way back up to brisbane

Currumbin back beach, there will be no waves in the Alley.

All depends if the wind does go SE, if too S it will be flukey at Currumbin and you could be better off at Mermaid.
