Don't forget - If, by some fluke of nature, tomorrow's seabreeze is bigger than predicted don't go rushing excitedly down to The Train because there will only be 1000's of numbered, lycra clad, yellow sunglass wearing athletes there, and bitter disappointment for you.

Oatland Esp or Land's End for me. I suppose you could launch from further north of the Train/KFC (maybe) or Sea World on the other side.

But I recommend a surf/swim. Beach was 10/10 this morning.

(Maybe some larger, freeride gear in the ocean, anyone? More wind offshore )

I totally agree, except replace Wello with Shearwater/Train.

We should go karting if no wind.

sharks hey,

i am told that the channel in the distance towards coochie island throws up some very big swells on an outgoing tide. plus it is my local.

windy, have you seen many sharks?

wello in a northerly is pretty good. especially with the swell direction.

I've done several downwinders from Thompsons Beach to Wello, and I personally haven't seen any sharks, but the guys have seen several.

Especially near Pt Halloran and at G J Walter Park at Cleveland when you come in around the mangroves where the Cleveland Ferry departs!

Today isn't eventuating to much... Fingers crossed it comes in this arvy!
