it is, when might you be heading up, high tide after 1:00 ish, tide against the wind should produce some nice ramps.
Sounds good, hopefully the greenies will show up early and not late in the arvo like the last couple of days.
I'll probably head up around 12
sending u a pm
Aaaaawesooomeeeeee!
That looks fantastic - thanks so much!
I try to get out of work early and might see you there.
Reminds me of Eastern Beach in Auckland.
How deep is it? Is it pretty shallow to get that sort of wave effect?
Unexpectedly epic day out. Fully lit with 4.8 on 83l wave board. Consistent 30kt SE with great ramps. A great day out ![]()
I was going to have a look but went to Turners camp instead.
Was hard work with a 6.6 and very choppy.
I it looks great a beechmere
turned out to be a good day, ended up on a 4.0 and 99l wave.
Came in when I went over the front during a gybe, the fin found the bottom.
I decided a short walk back was easier than a long one.![]()
Hey doodah, how was the traffic on the way back to Brissy, it was a very slow trip for me.![]()
Traffic was fine for me. Must have just missed the rush. Traffic is normally going the other way on a Friday arvo ![]()
Nice footage doodah, nice jibes also and some sweet jumps to. I've only been there once but had a ball. Hopefully get there again soon and am hanging for a run there in a big NE.
Far out, just typical. Holidays come along with plenty of wind and i have missed it all due to this damaged rotor cuff
lucky lucky people,enjoy
Epic and unexpected Friday arvo at Queens, only 4 out? 4.2 on 90l for a couple of hours working off the Xmas cheer. Out of control at times before the rain pushed through. More please...
Brent, you would have had a ball at Neil St yesterday.
Peter Nitschke and the local crew showed me how to negotiate the shorebreak and ride Dickeys Reef. Not quite Margaret River but was showing real form. The swell was only small and I wasn't really on the right gear but what a Blast! I need to learn how to bottom turn and then cut back on a wave. The guys up here are really good sailors and had the place wired. Definitely my pick for the spot to be in a Sou-easter. Just nothing like it at Redcliffe.
Hey Doc, I'm locked down on Fridays with work, family had the car all day bla, bla, bla. Was just glad to get on the water when it kick at Queens around 3, strongest I've sailed in a long time. Give me a ring next time your heading to the Sunny Coast, been over a year since I sailed up there & keen sail there more regularly as part of my resolutions last night
. Happy New Year!
