We are obviously negotiating sponsors currently, we have some on board already and they all will be added soon, sponsors are incredibly important for the success of the series due to new council fees.

You also really need to 'like' the event on Facebook also, as this is where a lot of the updates will be done, along with Seabreeze.

The event is brought to you buy Windwanders www.windwanderers.org.au/Home.aspx, it's not for profit and it's all about promoting the sport of windsurfing at it's best and most fun, to both current windsurfers, past windsurfers and future !

HI Guys, update...
the Facebook page went nuts ! like 100 in 24 hrs!, so to avoid being shutdown by FB we needs to set up a Organisation page....
so look up Freerace Queensland and you will find us...during the week we will shut down the first page and keep the organisation page only.
Even if your not a Face Booker its important to get on to site and like etc as we will do a lot of updates, photos etc there.

The above image is not quite correct(sorry got this around the wrong way). Will do an update and post here. The actual sailing areas is more of a diamond shape with the two markers at the opposite corners.
it's one of the best spots around.
like queens beach the shoreline is elevated so the spectators get a full overview of the area. plus, it's one of the windiest places in the South east for anything from the north through east to the south.
