Does anybody know how the windsurfer with the new Exocet D2 Raceboard and the 9.5m North Sail did in the +20knot conditions at Manly last Saturday afternoon? It was impressive watching him work to windward toward Wellington point.
A comprehensive report, very interesting. The Demon 9.5 should make a huge difference. See you on the water.
I'm thinking of coming up for a raceboard sail at Manly tomorrow (Sat).
Will any one else be sailing?
Would love to put the Mistral up against the D2 (or anything else actually).![]()
Will be going for a sail on the rsx tomorrow at manly. I'm expecting at least one other rsx to be there. Will be launching from the rqys beach around 11ish hopefully see you there

Did you take the Mistral OD out and join the RSX today?
I took my son and 2 of his mates to Sandgate for thier first sailboard lessons. Thanks to Padi and his crew at Surf Connect. The boys had a great time.
I took the Superlight out to encourage them into the deaper water. Not much wind. Good for learning though.

Ended up just being myself and my son we sailed from Manly over to wello then had a easy downwind cruise back. Not much wind I sailed the rsx over and he sailed the windsurf/sup with a 8.0mtr gaastra gtx. We swapped the sails over at wello and he sailed the rsx back. Overall a nice cruisy sail hardly any boats almost had the bay to ourselves. Was the first time he used a larger cammed sail i think he is ready to start racing technos now first race will be frostbite series in may.
Race 1 & 2 are 26th may. I will try to get to Cootharaba for the Wind Wanderers weekend in may also Tony mentioned organizing some course racing if anyone was interested.
We have a regatta on at LCSC.
3 races Saturday 5th of May and 3 races Sunday 6th.
Triangle course.
any one who is interested please let me know
and I will see what we can do to include you.
Even if you just want to come up for one day.
