hmm, sorry guy,

i may have to change that.

it's ok once you get out from the shore a hundred of meters. formula gear or big gear only type of stuff. but in a NE the wind pumps between coochie and macleay.
but as i said you need to get out to it first.

point halloran on the other side of victoria point would be better at high tide. most of the VP locals go there in summer. i haven't sailed it myself but am told the swell is massive.

outgoing tide and NE winds

Went to Pt Haloran this arvo and about 4 other locals there. Wasn't much good, wind died and we had a good chat waiting in the water for something to happen. Oh well, maybe next week......

mermaid was crud, looked ok from the shore, optical illusion though!

wind was too much from the nth, went out, fell off, couldnt get enough puff to waterstart, swam in, over it!!!!

I guess thats why its called windsurfing, you need wind, I must remember that

Yesterday at Golden Beach was beyond belief. Stunning water clarity, strong smooth northerly probably gusting to twenty, amazing speed runs along the sandbank. Probably one of the best days ever. I sailed 'till dark and it was still hammering when I drove off.
