Easily accessible from the beach at Cullen Bay but really only good to sail in the monsoons where the wind is mostly wet to northwest. Good place for passing crocs to rest. Best windsurfing is at mouth of Rapid Creek during dry season when strong easterlies are on. Also good time of the year to get afternoon NE sea breeze from mid afternoon. I sailed there for 20 years until moving to Innisfail, now only one guy there doing it seriously. All the others defected to string sailing.
