Anyone ?
I know the parking will be hell, but there is a good swell, and if we get wind, then it should be great.

based on yesterdays wind direction i'd say there wouldn't be enough west in it for the alley to work?

anyway i'm down at yamba, I might go for a drive to woolgoolga.

*Edit, west=east

I'm a bit confused by people saying that the Alley needs west in it to work.
It goes offshore and total crap even on a due southerly, let alone a westerly, or am I totally off-base ??

What's the wind like at Yamba ?

Sorry i meant east. Needs to be south east for it to be nice inside the alley i beleive. Thou you can sail the south side of the point when the wind isn't a good direction.

Yeah yamba is okay, was pretty light maybe up to 15kts but really onshore yesterday, and crappy waves so I just went and sailed some flat water. Will hit the surf if it gets closer to 20kts, I don't like rigging anything bigger then 5.3/84L board in the surf.

Not sure but I think flat top in ballina could work? I was thinking about flat rock in woolgoolga, but i think flat top is closer.
