for those of us who love sailing this spot but were unable to attend this years classic due to being on the other side of the world...
how was it??? 
i went today and watched the action.
wind was light with 3/4 mast waves coming through.
seems a gutter has formed providing an easier path through the break.
5-6 guys hit the water this arvo and put on an impressive display. was very happy to be in the crowd watching. i have some photos but haven't checked to see if they came out or not. i arrived late so missed an morning action.
will hopefully upload some tonight.
