Whos in? I want to have my first session in the waves. Who wants to come and laugh at a beginner?

Anyone keen? Forecast looks okay, Southerly winds and a small swell.

Thanks Alex. Should be a good day if the wind arrives. Be nice to progress from Rose Bay to the waves.

Forecast looks pretty dodgey for tomorrow. Set to die in the afternoon too. Try before midday I'd say. Don't hold hopes too high though

Wind was a bit SW early, seemed more S out wider. Swell had also increased more than I expected. Neil street didnt seem that good due to the wind direction. I ended up having a session at Cotton Tree on the beach, waves were shoulder high on sets and breaking hard on the bank. It was an interesting experience timing your run past the waves but fun catching them on the way back in. I also got smashed in the waves in no mans land, no time to water start, just had too hang onto the rig. LOL! It was a good experience and I have so much more respect for guys that sail in the waves.
