Do you know what those images are suggesting to me? The first four letters are F.R.E. & E!

ahhh, yes,

freestyle. and yes it is very good for that.

actually, i am looing to include freestyle after the next event. but don't tell anyone. that was also one of the reasons for the name change.

Do most people try and book in at the same place? I have been to some events with my old car club where we booked out entire motels, made for a fun weekend! I'm keen to come this year.

ok guys, i just got off the phone from the final person i needed to confirm with prior to posting all the details.

i'm at work now, working hard. once back home tonight i'll type up the details and post to let everyone know the deal, including, accomodation, location, dates, sponsors, entry details etc.

it will be late as i need to sort all of the information out and get it typed out.

cheers for being patient as details to come.

Is this primarily Speed Sailing?
Or is there also Wave/Freestyle events?

Hi Scully,

Burrum suits speed and slalom sailing as well as freestyle. freestyle and speed go hand in hand due to the flat water.

there are some small waves to be had over at woodgate but it is not SEQ wave sailing by any stretch.

at this stage the event is a speed event with a giant slalom race being planned.

i am hopping to add freestyle to the list at the event after this one as well as some other improvements.

Hi Squid lips.

the event is being staged at the Burrum Sands Holiday Units. they have rooms there which are fairly cheap and you would be there with other competitors.

i have rented the house next door with a yard for rig storage etc so you won't have to derig. you may have to open a beer or 2 though.

if there are a few of us from NQ going, we may as well book a house or a big unit as it will be just as cheap per person but with all facilities??

Just out of curiosity.....

The junior division, is that the same age as bayside and windsurfing qld age requirements?

bayside sailboards, "Youth – open to youths 19 yrs and under at 1 Jan 2009" (this is obviously last yr's quote therefore 2009 would be 2010)

If so, its on luke.... isonic for isonic
