Yep... Tried out Nudgee Beach for something different. Awesome spot on an E erly... just didn't anticipate how shallow the water was in parts. Ouch.. Also damaged sail and broke base. Great sail other than that
You never know... I may even need a new board now 
sounds a lot worse than it actually was. The base was a separate incident that happened after I stupidly decided to continue sailing after the first stack. I guess I figured that the nose wouldn't consume much water as long as I kept planing!
