Forecast for Sunday is looking pretty good for some slalom racing. The venue will be Manly, sign-on from 12pm, racing from around 1pm. Official notice will be posted online tomorrow.
We look forward to a strong late season turnout and some close racing.
Unfortunately the conditions haven't stabilised this morning so we have decided to call off the racing for the day. There's still a reasonable chance of some wind later this afternoon but trying to get races happening on a day like today is likely to be unrewarding. Fingers crossed for some decent free sailing later today.
Oh well, fair enough. I'm only getting 10 knots from the East with drizzle here at the moment.(11:30am). Looks like it will just be the "Casuals and self employed Cup" (me, Clive, Simon,and Joanne.)
