Alright Baysider's, we are going to capitalise on the forecast & run a 1-Hour challenge this Sunday arvo at Viccy Point.
Sunday, 3rd April.
Time: 2.30pm-4.30pm (your best 60min at anytime within this period)
Launch: Thompson's Beach, Victoria Point (Yeo Park, Thompson Street)
Speedster's can choose to sail along the 500m section of flatwater behind the bank or take the longer runs from Coochie Island towards Redland Bay but it gets quite choppy so any gear can take the win.
Sailors are requested not to sail past Coochie & be aware of shallow sandbanks to south & west of main sailing area.
Hope to see some more become involved with the GPS & it'll be great practice for the BC challenge. Who can back up 3 gruelling weekends of competition in a row?
