I'm glad I took the boat for a spin and didnt wait for the forcast 15-18 knots. It started at 0-3 knots and finally came in at 5-7 knots...A lotta pumping there for Luke and the rsx sailors.

No Mate.... Waqureiz 40S, (vessel Name AIRSTREAM)
Think we may have been just in front.
Had a Pink kite up headed towards St Helena and then choose to go out between St Helena and Green... lack of wind changed the route..had a deadline to be back
42ft sloop 7/8 fractional rig 2.4mtr draft (blue hull).Big single wheel.. nice to sail.
Putting some racing gear on it over the coming months
New No1 and No 3 and a new running kite and pole...
(gearing it up for (next year) the Sydney to Southport and then the Brisbane - Gladstone and Keppel races and then off too Hamo race week next year).. = .

cheers

Dunno what you blokes are on about - had a decent sail from Manly this arvo from 3pm. Was up to 15 knots "out the back" as they say. Only had my storm sail up too (9m).

I had a nice run at Viccy P. Went out before 4 with barely enough plus holes but it filled in nicely by about 4.30. I had a luverly (if short) sail for a change.

mm never came up at wello even out the back past the markers. I planned after about 50m + of pumping but it was very patchy and hard to get on the plane. i was sailing from about 3:30 till 5.

you were going out as I was coming in. I would have offered you a tow but you were in a tacking duel with a mustang cruiser !

Yeah, it was like he was "taking me up" to windward. Was a bit quiet in close, but once I got out it was good.
