Hi, I've just arrived in Cairns and looking at places to Windsurf. I gather Yorkeys Knob is one spot, Holloway's another?
Is anyone heading out Today?

Hi Dave, I worked today but if windy I go to Holloways. I have tomorrow off so if we have wind I'll head down after lunch, about half way along the beach. Yorkey's can be better but is over run with touro kiters, nothing wrong with them just no room to scratch ya self

I sailed Yorkey's yesterday and understand what you mean about the Kiters.. Didn't bother me much as I went out to sea for a bit as the wind was a little stronger out there. A very marginal day - I sailed 7.7 on a isonic 117 and spent half the time wollowing off the plane.
Hopethe wind comes through today but not looking good at the moment. If it does I'll see you at Holloway's

Good to see you got a sail in, yeh kites ok just busy in rigging area and car parking other than that all good. The wind is always better off shore so hard to tell some times on the beach. I'm not sailing today, made the decision on the forecast so the wife can pinch the car.
I'm guessing you're up here for the titles so I'll will see you sooner or later.

I've decided to head out to Green Is and try my luck at some wind there... Have got a 7 day pass so will probably to a daily pilgramage there..

Sweet! Myself and Luke Baillie will be out on Green everyday (except for me today, stuck at home doing some work, but Luke is on the 8.30 ferry) ...enjoy!
